eCredits Plugin
The eCredits plugin is a free plugin thats included with the Pro Chat Rooms that allows you to charge your customers/members on a 'pay per minute' basis for private conversations via the Pro Chat Rooms private chat interface. This plugin has countless uses across the internets whole range of online services from professional companies (e.g. technical support) to adult personals (e.g. adult entertainment).
So how does it work?
Once a user has logged into the chat room they can choose who to private chat with from the list of users in the chat room. The option to include additional audio/video (via webcams) during private conversations is also available (requires the optional webcam plugin).
Every time a user requests a private chat session, upon opening a private chat window they will see a timer displaying the hours/minutes left which counts down until it reaches zero then closes the private chat window and ends the conversation.
To continue the conversation, the user will need to purchase additional eCredits which can be exchanged for more time. The administrator can set their own custom price for eCredits. View an example purchase page.
Once the administrator has received payment, the eCredits can then be added to the users eCredit total and the private chat can resume.
Admins Features,
1) Enable/Disable eCredits module.
2) Award free eCredits for each 'guest login' and 'new member' registration.
3) Set your own custom price for purchasing 'eCredits'.
4) Add to or deduct eCredits from any users.
5) Monitor eCredits in real time.
6) Paypal integrated.
7) Admins, Moderators and Speakers do not require eCredits to use the private chat features.
